About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven SEO Specialist to work on a focused, single-project engagement. This is a part-time remote role — ideal for someone who wants consistent work, flexible hours, and a clear project scope without the noise of juggling multiple clients.
What You'll Be Working On
- A single dedicated project — full SEO ownership from audit to execution
- Building and executing an SEO strategy to improve organic visibility, traffic, and rankings
- Working closely with the project lead with minimal hand-holding expected
Key Responsibilities
- Technical SEO — Site audits, crawl error fixes, page speed optimization, schema markup, robots.txt, sitemap
- On-Page SEO — Keyword research, meta tags, heading structure, internal linking, content optimization
- Off-Page SEO — Backlink strategy, outreach coordination, competitor link analysis
- Content SEO — Identifying content gaps, writing SEO briefs, optimizing existing pages
- Tracking & Reporting — Weekly reporting using Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs/SEMrush
- Local SEO (if applicable) — Google Business Profile optimization, local citations
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or freelance both fine)
- Proven track record of improving rankings and organic traffic — must be able to share results
- Proficient with tools: Ahrefs / SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog
- Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO
- Good written English — able to write SEO briefs and communicate clearly
- Self-managed — able to plan and execute within 4 hours/day without micromanagement
Nice to Have
- Experience with WordPress (on-page edits, Yoast/Rank Math)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor technical fixes
- Experience with e-commerce SEO or content-led SEO strategies
- Prior experience working in remote async setups

Reporting: Weekly updates + on-demand check-ins
