Job Summary:
A South Indian Chef is responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation standards. The chef ensures consistency in traditional recipes and smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, chutneys, rasam, uttapam, and regional curries.
- Ensure proper fermentation, batter preparation, and spice blending.
- Maintain taste consistency and presentation standards.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Monitor stock of raw materials and inform purchase department for requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and control costs.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff (if senior role).
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work area.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
