We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable enterprise data platforms and modern cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python/PySpark, AWS data services, SQL development, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines, and data warehousing concepts, along with exposure to Azure Data Lake and basic knowledge of IBM DataStage.
The role involves defining data architecture standards, building high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines, supporting analytics initiatives, and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable data integration across cloud and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
. Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures for analytics and reporting platforms.
. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
. Architect and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
. Design and maintain dimensional data models, data marts, and enterprise data warehouses.
. Build robust data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data.
. Optimize SQL queries, data processing jobs, and Snowflake workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
. Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering workflows.
. Work with Azure Data Lake for data storage, ingestion, and lifecycle management.
. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, and application teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
. Support data governance, metadata management, security, and data quality initiatives.
. Provide technical guidance and architectural best practices to development teams.
. Assist in migration and modernization of legacy ETL/DataStage solutions to cloud-native platforms.
. Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and production support activities.

Technical Skills
. Strong programming experience in: Python PySpark Advanced SQL development
. Hands-on experience with AWS services: AWS Lambda AWS Glue S3 IAM CloudWatch (preferred)
