Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage incidents, problems, and change requests related to Ariba Buying, Invoicing, Sourcing, and Supplier Lifecycle within SLA timelines.
- Support Ariba–SAP integrations (ECC/S/4) including document flows for PR, PO, invoices, and master data synchronization.
- Analyze and resolve production issues related to interface failures, data inconsistencies, document posting errors, and integration delays.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring Ariba technical and functional issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Support Ariba CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) monitoring, error handling, and reprocessing activities.
- Assist in minor enhancements, testing, and validation of Ariba configurations and integration changes.
- Support release, cutover, and deployment activities related to Ariba upgrades and integration changes.
- Maintain process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles for S2P Ariba AMS support
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in Source to Pay (S2P) with hands-on exposure to SAP Ariba and technical integrations.
- Experience working in AMS / Production Support environments with SLA-driven delivery.
- Strong understanding of procure-to-pay business processes and Ariba solution landscape.
- Experience supporting global procurement and IT stakeholders
Additional Information:
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Ariba modules (Buying, Invoicing, Sourcing, Supplier Management).
- Hands-on experience with Ariba CIG, interfaces, and integration troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Ariba–SAP ECC/S/4 integration and document lifecycle.
- Proficiency in incident management, RCA, testing, and documentation in an AMS setup.
- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
