What You'll Do
Founded in 2022, the Enterprise Services (ES) organization delivers efficient, resilient, and scalable
services globally, supporting BCG's diverse teams. It is an evolving BCG organization that is predominantly
focused on providing Global Business Services (GBS) activities to every part of BCG. It includes a range of
business-critical services and expertise, including Global Finance & Operations Services (GF&OS),
Procurement & Payables, Travel, Meetings & Events, Case Team Services, ClientView (Lead-to-Cash), Real
Estate, Executive Support Services, and Business Insights and Analytics; supported by transversal expertise in our product portfolios and excellence functions.
As a member of the management team for Global Finance and Operations Services (GF&OS), you will lead
and continue to scale our Global Travel & Expense (T&E) service line to support our growing business.
This role will play a key part in shaping the future operating model for T&E within GF&OS through
operational excellence, digital enablement, and continuous transformation.
This highly customer-centric role requires an individual with experience navigating complex stakeholder
environments and delivering outstanding service excellence. As a subject matter expert for T&E, you will
develop deep understanding of BCG policies and procedures, ensuring all GFOS T&E processes are run
effectively, efficiently and within business conduct parameters. You will support the continued evolution
of the T&E service line as we progress through a fast-paced and exciting transformation journey.
You will also be expected to proactively identify and embed emerging technologies, including AI-enabled
tools, automation, and analytics solutions, to enhance operational execution, decision-making,
productivity, and overall service outcomes across the T&E operations team.
Roles and responsibilities
Lead the Travel & Expense service line, as part of Global Finance Operations Services

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of 3 direct-report managers, with overall leadership
responsibility for an organization of 40+ T&E professionals -
Ensure delivery of an effective, efficient, and compliant T&E audit process, in accordance with
agreed procedures and policies -
Act as the escalation point in resolving complex issues with key stakeholders

Maintain high quality of service levels, reporting against T&E service delivery KPIs to GFOS and
geography leaderships
Provide subject matter expertise for T&E, ensuring robust risk management

Develop an in-depth understanding of T&E policies for different geographies

Ensure processes are documented and harmonized, in collaboration with key stakeholders

Provide support in compliance aspects: reporting, investigation of specific cases, and analysis
Deliver continuous improvement of T&E service line

Continuously improve T&E services, in close collaboration with stakeholders

Initiate and drive simplification of processes to achieve cost savings, efficiency, and improved
user experience -
Improve operating models through process redesign, standardization, automation, and
technology enablement -
Identify and promote use of emerging technologies, including GenAI tools such as ChatGPT,
Claude, and other automation / analytics solutions, to improve execution, decision-making,
reporting, quality, and team productivity -
Manage transition of T&E activity from sending geographies, ensuring successful knowledge
transfer to the GF&OS T&E team within agreed timelines -
Support cross-functional projects and initiatives related to T&E

Build a continuous improvement mindset across the team, encouraging innovation, structured
problem-solving, and measurable impact tracking
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance & Accounting, with prior experience of working in a
global finance operations setup
- 14+ years of relevant experience in Finance processes with focus on expense to pay domain,
and a good understanding of finance operations setup, delivery, and process transformation -
Experience of sustained successful performance in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, and service
oriented environment
- Experience leading teams through process improvements and implementation of standardized
processes throughout large organizations
- Experience in a T&E processes and system solution like Concur, Chrome River, etc.
- Experience within a high volume business at operational level
- Proven experience driving process transformation, technology enablement, automation, or AI-led
productivity improvements in a finance operations / shared services environment
- Strong understanding of how digital tools, workflow technologies, reporting platforms, and
emerging AI capabilities can be applied to improve operational effectiveness
- Experience promoting adoption of new tools and ways of working across large teams, including
change management, training, and stakeholder engagement
