GAMMA Marine is looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, integration, deployment and troubleshooting of electronic and control systems for electric mobility applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electronics, control systems, embedded systems and electrical interfaces, with practical experience in developing, testing or commissioning electronic systems.
Candidates with experience in electric vehicles (EVs), electric mobility, battery systems, automotive electronics, embedded systems or control systems will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development and integration of electronic and control systems.
- Select, evaluate and integrate controllers, sensors, actuators and electronic components.
- Participate in system testing, commissioning and deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, control, communication and integration issues.
- Interpret circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, datasheets and technical specifications.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting using electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Support prototype development, modifications and system improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, reports and troubleshooting records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and technical partners for component selection and integration.
- Ensure systems meet applicable requirements for safety, reliability, performance and maintainability.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems and electronic control systems.
- Understanding of sensors, actuators, relays, controllers and power electronics.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, connectors, protection devices and system integration.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
- Experience with testing, fault finding and commissioning of electronic systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach to engineering problems.
- Good technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EVs, electric mobility, battery systems or automotive electronics.
- Knowledge of CAN/CAN Bus, UART, RS232/RS485 or similar communication protocols.
- Basic understanding of battery-powered systems and electrical energy management.
- Knowledge of control logic and embedded programming.
- Experience with prototypes, field installations or system commissioning.
- Strong interest in electric mobility and control technologies.
Industry Experience
Experience in any of the following sectors will be an advantage but is not essential:
Maritime | Marine Electronics | Automation | Shipbuilding | Utilities | Renewable Energy | Electric Mobility | Automotive
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates may also be considered if they have strong practical or project experience in EVs, embedded systems or electronics.

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
