Job Summary:
The IELTS/PTE Trainer is responsible for preparing students for English proficiency exams such as IELTS and PTE Academic. The trainer will develop students’ skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking while providing strategies to achieve high band scores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom and/or online training sessions for IELTS and PTE candidates
- Teach all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
- Design lesson plans, study materials, and practice tests
- Assess students’ performance and provide constructive feedback
- Guide students on exam strategies, time management, and scoring criteria
- Conduct mock tests and evaluate results
- Track student progress and maintain performance records
- Stay updated with the latest exam patterns and syllabus changes
- Provide one-on-one coaching for students needing extra support
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field
- Certification in teaching English (e.g., TESOL, TEFL) preferred
- Strong command of English (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation)
- Prior experience as an IELTS/PTE trainer or English language instructor
- Familiarity with IELTS and PTE scoring systems and formats
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
Preferred Qualifications:
- High personal score in IELTS or PTE
- Experience in online teaching platforms
- Knowledge of other English proficiency exams
Pay: ₹10,554.89 - ₹29,107.86 per month
