ob Summary
The Duty Medical Officer is responsible for providing medical care to patients, handling emergencies, coordinating with consultants and nursing staff, maintaining medical records, and ensuring quality patient care during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in OPD, IPD, Emergency, and ICU as required.
Attend medical emergencies and provide immediate stabilization.
Conduct patient rounds and monitor patient progress.
Coordinate with consultants for patient management and referrals.
Prescribe medications and treatment plans according to hospital protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, and procedures to patients and relatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and legal requirements.
Participate in quality improvement and infection control activities.
Assist in medico-legal cases and prepare necessary reports.
Qualifications
MBBS from a recognized medical college.
Valid registration with Tamil Nadu Medical Council or relevant State Medical Council.
Freshers or experienced candidates may apply.
Skills Required
Clinical assessment and emergency management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in shifts.
Basic computer and EMR knowledge.
Teamwork and patient-centered approach.
Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
