Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Manager – Civil Interiors to handle estimation, quantity surveying, commercial management, and vendor coordination for corporate workplace interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of civil interior works, cost control expertise, and the ability to manage project commercials from planning to project closure.
Key ResponsibilitiesBOQ & Cost Estimation
- Prepare detailed BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements
- Develop accurate project cost estimates and budgeting for interior fit-out projects
- Conduct quantity take-offs for civil and interior works
- Provide value engineering solutions for cost optimization
- Maintain updated market rates for materials, labour, and vendors
Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
- Monitor project costs throughout execution and ensure budget compliance
- Handle billing certifications, subcontractor evaluations, and final settlements
- Manage project variations and commercial documentation
- Support procurement and cost tracking activities
Tendering & Vendor Coordination
- Float RFQs and analyse vendor quotations
- Prepare comparative statements and negotiate with contractors and suppliers
- Validate vendor bills and coordinate with procurement teams
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
Client Coordination & Reporting
- Participate in client discussions related to BOQs, budgeting, and cost clarifications
- Coordinate with design and business development teams during proposal stages
- Prepare MIS reports, cost reports, and project trackers
- Ensure timely reporting and commercial updates to stakeholders
Required Skills
- Strong experience in civil interior and workplace interior projects
- Knowledge of estimation, quantity surveying, and commercial management
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Profile
- Experience in corporate workplace interiors and turnkey fit-out projects
- Hands-on experience in billing, vendor management, and project commercial closures
- MBA RICS qualification will be an added advantage
- Practical exposure to civil interior execution and costing
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
