Job Description – Gymnastics Teacher (After-School Activity)
Position: Gymnastics Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: The Learning Curve Preschool & Daycare, Kamothe Sector 21, Navi Mumbai
Working Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Timings: After School Hours (as per the school schedule)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging gymnastics sessions for preschool and primary-age children.
- Teach basic gymnastics skills, including stretching, balance, flexibility, coordination, and movement techniques.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during every session.
- Set up and maintain gymnastics equipment before and after each class.
- Encourage confidence, discipline, teamwork, and physical fitness through fun and age-appropriate activities.
- Monitor each child's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and school management when required.
- Maintain discipline while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Follow all school safety policies and child protection guidelines.
- Inform the school in advance if any equipment or safety concerns arise.
Requirements
- Certification or relevant training in Gymnastics, Physical Education, or Sports Coaching.
- Prior experience teaching gymnastics to young children is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to handle children with care and responsibility.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional in conduct.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate physical activities.
- First Aid certification will be an added advantage.
Employment Type: Part-Time / Freelance
Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (After School Hours)
Reporting To: Centre Head
Compensation: As per experience and qualifications.
