Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize transportation, warehousing, dispatch, and supply chain operations at our manufacturing facility in Barapani, Meghalaya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely movement of raw materials and finished goods while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Manage transportation, dispatch, and warehouse activities to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams for smooth material flow.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transporters, vendors, and logistics service providers.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and company policies related to logistics operations.
- Track inventory movement and maintain accurate logistics records and reports.
- Resolve transportation and delivery-related issues in a timely manner.
- Lead and develop the logistics team to achieve operational targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- 10–14 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or dispatch management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
