Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced General Manager – EXIM to lead and manage the company's import-export operations, international business development, trade compliance, logistics, documentation, finance coordination, and team management activities.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in international trade, export-import documentation, global client handling, foreign trade regulations, currency transactions, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
*International Business Development*
* Identify and develop new international markets and business opportunities.
* Lead client meetings, negotiations, and business discussions.
* Develop strategies for expanding export and import business globally.
Export-Import Operations
* Oversee complete export and import processes from order confirmation to shipment delivery.
* Ensure smooth coordination between suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and clients.
* Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely execution.
*Documentation & Compliance*
* Supervise preparation and verification of:
* Certifications and Licensing
* Commercial Invoice
* Packing List
* Bill of Lading
* Airway Bill
* Certificate of Origin
* Phytosanitary Certificate
* Insurance Documents
* Export/Import Licenses
* Letter of Credit (LC) Documentation
* Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, FEMA, GST, and international trade regulations.
Finance & Foreign Trade Management
* Manage export-import financial transactions.
* Coordinate with banks regarding:
* Letter of Credit (LC)
* Bank Guarantee (BG)
* Export Documentation
* Foreign Remittances
* Monitor foreign currency transactions and exchange rate fluctuations.
* Basic understanding of forex risk management and international payment terms.
* Knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR, EXW, DDP, etc.).
*Logistics & Supply Chain Management*
* Manage international shipping and logistics operations.
* Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs clearing agents.
* Optimize freight costs and transit timelines.
* Resolve shipment-related issues and delays.
Team Management
* Lead and manage the EXIM, Documentation, Logistics, and Business Development team, Marketing team, Data team, Procurement team.
* Set departmental goals and KPIs.
* Conduct performance reviews and provide training to team members.
* Ensure smooth coordination between departments.
*Market Research & Strategic Planning*
* Analyze global market trends, commodity pricing, and competitor activities.
* Identify new sourcing and selling opportunities.
* Support management in strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
