Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plant Head to oversee the overall manufacturing operations of the plant. The candidate will be responsible for production, quality, maintenance, safety, manpower management, cost control, and achieving business targets while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage overall plant operations to achieve production targets.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
Monitor production planning and execution as per business requirements.
Maintain product quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement cost-control initiatives and improve plant efficiency.
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for plant performance.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, and Sales teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
Manage plant budgets and control operational expenses.
Recruit, train, and develop plant personnel.
Prepare and present operational reports to management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Production) or related field.
MBA (Operations) preferred.
05–10+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
