Job Summary
We are hiring an OFSAA + ETL Engineer for banking projects with a focus on data integration, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting within BFSI environments. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), ETL development, Oracle databases, and banking data processes.
The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to support and enhance OFSAA applications, manage ETL workflows, and ensure smooth execution of data processing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, maintain, and enhance applications in the OFSAA environment.
- Develop, manage, and optimize ETL workflows and batch processing jobs.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple banking systems.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL/PLSQL queries, procedures, packages, and scripts.
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities.
- Monitor daily ETL jobs and troubleshoot job failures or performance issues.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams for requirement gathering and implementation.
- Provide deployment support and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with banking standards.
- Support reporting and reconciliation processes across banking applications.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in OFSAA / Oracle Financial Services applications.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Experience in BFSI / Banking domain preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skill
Exposure to OFSAA modules such as:
- FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing)
- ALM (Asset Liability Management)
- LRM (Liquidity Risk Management)
- PFT (Profitability Management)
Experience with ETL tools such as:
- Informatica
- ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)
- IBM DataStage
- Basic understanding of reporting and reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with banking data models and regulatory reporting is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
