About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and quality-driven QA Automation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in manual testing along with hands-on expertise in automation testing across web, mobile, and API applications. This role requires excellent analytical abilities, strong communication skills, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and efficient test automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high product quality.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Perform API testing, database validation, and cross-browser/cross-platform testing.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall QA best practices.
- Ensure product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
- Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- ISTQB Certification (preferred).

- Familiarity with modern QA tools, DevOps practices, and cloud-based testing environments.
