Video Grapher & Video Editor – Job Description
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Grapher & Video Editor to join our studio team. The candidate will be responsible for handling daily shoots based on client requirements and creating high-quality social media content with fast turnaround times.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle daily studio shoots for clients including:
- Instagram Reels
- Podcasts
- YouTube videos
- Interview shoots
- Promotional videos
- Operate and manage studio equipment:
- Cameras
- Studio lights
- Microphones
- Audio equipment
- Tripods, gimbals, and other accessories
- Set up lighting and camera angles based on shoot style and creative requirements.
- Ensure proper audio and video quality during shoots.
- Edit videos quickly and efficiently for social media platforms.
- Create engaging short-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Handle color correction, basic sound design, subtitles, transitions, and exports.
- Organize and maintain studio equipment and project files.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team for creative execution.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of camera operations and studio lighting setups.
- Experience using cameras like Sony/Canon or similar professional cameras.
- Understanding of framing, composition, exposure, and audio recording.
- Strong editing skills in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve (optional)
- After Effects (basic knowledge preferred)
- Ability to edit fast-paced social media content.
- Knowledge of current Instagram Reels and YouTube editing trends.
- Basic understanding of cinematic shooting and podcast production.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a content studio, agency, or production environment.
- Portfolio of social media videos, reels, podcasts, or YouTube content.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and deliver quick outputs.
