We are looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper / Stores Executive to manage day-to-day activities in an industrial stores environment. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, issuing, maintaining, and reconciling inventory while ensuring proper documentation and availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, spare parts, consumables, and PPE.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, material receipt/issue notes, stock registers, and purchase records.
- Issue materials to maintenance and other departments based on approved requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, balances, and transfers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and identify minimum stock and replenishment requirements.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance materials.
- Ensure materials are properly labelled, stored, and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Maintenance, Accounts, and other departments regarding material requirements and availability.
- Update inventory records using MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Assist in tracking purchase orders and ensuring materials received match the required specifications and quantities.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all stores-related records.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials, including PPE and maintenance consumables.
- Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation activities.
- Follow company procedures related to inventory control, safety, and stores management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 12th Pass / ITI qualification; Diploma preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial stores or warehouse operations.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Experience with basic inventory management software.
- Knowledge of stock receipt, issue, balance maintenance, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with GRN, material issue/receipt notes, stock registers, and purchase records.
- Basic technical knowledge of:
- Electrical spare parts
- Mechanical spare parts
- Consumables
- PPE and safety materials
- Experience with SAP, Tally, or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in the local language with basic English proficiency.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple material requirements.
Working Conditions
- Day shift preferred, with shift support as required.
- The role involves working around an industrial plant/stores environment and may require physical handling and movement of materials.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 per month
