Job Description – DM, Marketing Communications
The individual will be a key member of the marketing team, and will be responsible for marketing communications activities, including content creation, as outlined below.
The individual must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation and oral communications skills. He should be confident and result oriented, with good inter personal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
§ Content Creation – Create content for corporate literature, presentations, case studies, flyers, brochures, white papers, corporate film, and newsletters, amongst others. The individual should have the ability to conceptualize, assimilate information, and package content in a credible manner
§ Digital Marketing – Create impactful content for consumption across different digital channels and maintain a digital calendar to publish the content. Ensure website, and all channels are up to date. Regularly update the content to have better SEO rankings.
§ Tradeshows/events – Plan, coordinate and organize RMSI’s exhibit/walkthrough participation, including display of branding, event messaging and marketing material. Also, identify speaker opportunities for RMSI subject matter experts.
§ Media - Identify suitable media opportunities and formulate press briefs, press releases, articles, in national/international trade press, and generate positive visibility for the company
Educational/professional qualification
§ MBA, Mass Communications or an equivalent qualification
§ 5-8 years in Marketing Communications/Marketing Services
§ Prior IT/ITES experience is desirable
Technical Skills
§ Expert knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point
§ Excellent communication skills - written & spoken
§ Good understanding of the creative design / print / production processes
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills
§ Confident, result oriented, go-getter and a team player
Educational/professional qualification
