As part of our expansion, we are strengthening our Accounts & Finance team and looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Nagpur office.
Role Overview
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting statutory compliance. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in finance within a growing manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Recording day-to-day transactions in Tally/ERP
✔ Managing purchase, sales, and expense entries with proper documentation
✔ Handling Accounts Receivable & Payable entries and payment follow-ups
✔ Bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance
✔ Assisting in GST workings and return preparation
✔ Supporting monthly closing and basic financial reporting
✔ Coordinating with auditors and consultants when required
✔ Maintaining proper documentation and financial records
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Working knowledge of Tally
- Good command over MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP preferred)
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Responsible and disciplined work attitude
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Com / M.Com (Commerce background mandatory)
- 0–2 years of accounting experience
- Freshers with strong fundamentals can apply
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing is an advantage
