Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with a strong background in interior fit-out and modular furniture procurement. The ideal candidate should possess excellent vendor management, negotiation, and procurement planning skills while ensuring timely availability of materials, cost optimization, and quality compliance for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and develop reliable vendors for civil, HVAC, plumbing, modular furniture, and interior materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize vendors.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order processing.
- Coordinate with project managers, factory teams, and stores to understand material requirements.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure timely supply to project sites.
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors and identify new suppliers to improve quality and pricing.
- Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for vendor payments and reconciliation.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase reports.
Required Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have knowledge of procurement for:
- Modular Furniture
- Plywood, MDF, HDHMR, Particle Board
- Laminates and Veneers
- Hardware (Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, etc.)
- Aluminium & Glass Partitions
- False Ceiling Materials
- Flooring Materials (Wooden, Vinyl, SPC, Carpet, Tiles)
- Office Furniture Accessories
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement for modular furniture manufacturing, or commercial fit-out projects.
- Strong network of vendors dealing in interior and construction materials.
- Knowledge of procurement planning, material scheduling, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with procurement documentation, contracts, and vendor agreements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
