Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to manage and oversee complete factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for Production, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch, manpower management, production planning, productivity, and overall plant performance.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, decision-making, team-handling, and operational management skills with proven experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall factory operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timelines.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, operational performance, and resource utilization.
- Manage manpower planning, team allocation, discipline, and workforce productivity.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure availability of materials, manpower, machinery, and other resources for smooth production.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Monitor production-related MIS, reports, KPIs, and operational records.
- Ensure proper coordination between different departments for uninterrupted factory operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, statutory, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure machine availability and minimize downtime.
- Review overall factory performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the plant.
Candidate Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in factory operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Graduate / Diploma / Engineering qualification preferred.
- Strong experience in production planning and factory operations.
- Excellent manpower and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and maintenance coordination.
- Good understanding of plant productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple departments and work under pressure.
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
