Nature Education & Community Program Manager
Location: Bhopal
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–3 years preferred
Industry: Nature Education | Experiential Learning | Children & Family Experiences
About the Role
We are building a new nature-based learning and outdoor experiences initiative for children and families.
We are looking for a passionate, energetic and creative Nature Education & Community Program Manager who can help us design meaningful experiences for children, build a community of like-minded families, and take our programs from an idea to an engaging, well-executed experience.
This is not a conventional desk job.
You will spend time outdoors, work with children and parents, design activities, coordinate programs, create content and help build a new community around nature, curiosity and experiential learning.
What You Will Do
- Design and develop nature-based learning activities and outdoor experiences for children.
- Plan and execute workshops, weekend programs, camps and parent-child experiences.
- Develop age-appropriate activities around nature, wildlife, plants, insects, sustainability, sensory learning and outdoor exploration.
- Work directly with children and facilitate engaging outdoor sessions.
- Build relationships with parents and create an active community around the program.
- Identify and develop partnerships with schools, communities and organisations.
- Plan and coordinate events, facilitators, materials and logistics.
- Create engaging Instagram/Reels content around our programs and experiences.
- Turn everyday activities into compelling stories and social media content.
- Track participation, feedback and engagement and continuously improve programs.
- Bring new ideas for experiences, activities, collaborations and community initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
- A genuine love for children, nature and outdoor learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong creativity and the ability to turn simple ideas into engaging experiences.
- Confidence interacting with children and parents.
- Comfortable working outdoors and being hands-on.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Reels and digital content creation.
- Ability to independently plan and execute activities.
- A proactive, energetic and entrepreneurial mindset.
Educational Background
Candidates from backgrounds such as Education, Early Childhood Education, Environmental Studies, Wildlife, Zoology, Botany, Child Psychology, Experiential Learning, Outdoor Education or related fields are encouraged to apply.
However, we are more interested in what you can create and how you connect with children and nature than in your degree alone.
You Will Be a Great Fit If...
You enjoy being outdoors more than sitting behind a desk.
You can turn a fallen leaf into a learning activity.
You enjoy asking children questions rather than simply giving them answers.
You can organise a workshop in the morning and create a Reel about it in the afternoon.
You are curious, energetic, creative and comfortable getting your hands dirty.
And most importantly, you believe that children should experience nature — not just learn about it from a textbook or screen.
Why Join Us?
You will be part of building something from the ground up — an initiative designed to reconnect children with nature through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
If you are looking for a role where you can create, experiment, work with children, spend time outdoors and build a community, we would love to hear from you.
Apply with your CV and, if available, examples of programs, activities, content or community initiatives you have created.
