Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, finance management, GST compliance, and documentation across multiple businesses. The role requires hands-on expertise in accounting software, taxation, payroll, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for all group companies.
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries using Tally / Zoho Books
- Ensure correct recording of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and support in finalization of accounts.
Finance Management
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
- Prepare periodic MIS & financial reports for management.
GST Filing & Compliance
- Handle end-to-end GST compliance for all businesses.
- Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, etc.
- Ensure timely GST payments and compliance with due dates.
- Reconcile GST input credits, sales data, and purchase data.
- Coordinate with CA / GST consultant for audits or notices, if required.
E-Commerce Accounting
- Manage accounting for e-commerce transactions including orders, refunds, commissions, and payment gateways.
- Reconcile marketplace statements, payment gateways, and settlements.
- Handle GST implications related to e-commerce sales.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Process monthly payroll, salary disbursements, and payslips.
- Maintain payroll and compliance records.
Invoicing & Payment Follow-ups
- Generate sales invoices, tax invoices, and credit notes.
- Track receivables and conduct regular payment follow-ups with customers.
- Maintain aging reports and billing records.
Document & Record Management
- Maintain proper financial, tax, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure organized record-keeping for audits and internal reviews.
- Assist during statutory, internal, or GST audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting, GST and finance
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho Accounts
- Practical knowledge of:
- Accounting principles
- GST laws & return filing
- Payroll & statutory compliances
- Experience handling multiple entities preferred
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience in IT services, real estate, D2C or e-commerce accounting
- Familiarity with Zoho ecosystem
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently
