Job Title: Unpaid Intern
Organization Name: NEC Corporation of India Ltd.
Reporting Relationship: Reporting to Group Project Manager or Technical Architect
Role Summary:
Trainee will be assigned to some project along with a team and will work closely with a team of experienced developers and participate in all phases of software development lifecycle or will be assigned to standalone POC with technical mentor. The POC will be aligned to on-going project activities.
Responsibilities:
- Learn to write clean, efficient code based on company standards.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software systems.
- Learn to document development phases and monitor systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team growth and improvement.
- Propose application of GenAI for improving productivity
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, AI or related field (or currently pursuing degree)
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and basic knowledge of software development processes
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C, C#, C++, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Exposure to any one or more Gen AI framework
