Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch activities, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in warehouse planning, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations efficiently.
- Supervise receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams for timely material movement.
- Plan and manage transportation, deliveries, and logistics activities.
- Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders with proper documentation.
- Maintain warehouse safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to improve productivity.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with transport vendors and logistics partners for smooth deliveries.
- Prepare warehouse reports, inventory reports, and MIS as required by management.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experience with logistics planning and transportation coordination.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP software and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Certification in Supply Chain or Warehouse Management will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments preferred.
- Hands-on experience in inventory control, dispatch management, and warehouse administration.
