Roles and Responsibilities
Industry know how-
Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Tyres and Steel Wheel Rims (including Steel)
Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, cost drivers, manufacturing knowledge of Tyres and Steel Wheel Rim will be added advantage
Cost Reduction and Negotiation Skills:
Knowledge of Tyres and Steel Wheel Rims and techno-commercial details about the same
Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit and compliance
Legal knowledge is added advantage – supplier contract management
Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:
Basic understanding of suppliers' balance sheets for commercial negotiations.
Basic understanding and risk indicators of suppliers to mitigate potential risks to the supply chain.
Benchmarking Technology and Prices:
Conduct benchmarking studies to compare technology and prices across the industry.
Use benchmarking data to inform decision-making and ensure the company remains competitive.
Supplier Risk Management:
Develop and execute supplier risk management and mitigation plans.
Proactively identify potential risks and take steps to minimize their impact on the supply chain.
