Job Description
Role Overview: The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing end-to-end social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and trend awareness to drive impactful digital campaigns. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand communication across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
Develop comprehensive, platform-specific social media strategies aligned with overall brand objectives and marketing goals
Create monthly and quarterly content calendars, campaign plans, and publishing schedules with clearly defined KPIs
Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and industry benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
Define target audience segments and tailor content strategies to maximize reach and engagement
Plan and execute both organic and paid social media campaigns in alignment with business priorities
Content Direction & Execution:
Collaborate with design, video, and content teams to conceptualize and produce high-quality creatives including static posts, reels, carousels, stories, and short-form videos
Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media platforms
Ideate and execute campaign concepts around festivals, product/service launches, cultural moments, and trending topics
Provide clear creative briefs and direction to internal and external teams for content production
Review and optimize content before publishing to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with strategy
Performance & Analytics:
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, audience engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations
Track KPIs and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics to improve ROI
Utilize analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics, and other third-party platforms
Conduct A/B testing on content formats, captions, and posting times to improve effectiveness
Community Management:
Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
Build and nurture a strong online community by fostering meaningful interactions and conversations
Handle customer queries, feedback, and escalations in coordination with relevant internal teams
Collaborate with influencers, creators, and PR partners to expand reach and brand visibility
Monitor brand sentiment and manage online reputation
Innovation & Research:
Stay updated on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and emerging digital tools
Identify and experiment with new content formats such as user-generated content (UGC), live sessions, polls, collaborations, and interactive content
Continuously explore innovative ways to increase engagement, virality, and audience retention
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
