Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to monitor, analyze, and control company costs and budgets. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost reports, tracking operational expenses, ensuring budget compliance, and supporting financial planning to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational costs.
- Analyze financial data and prepare cost reports for management.
- Track budgets and ensure departments operate within approved limits.
- Review purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments for accuracy.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs.
- Assist in inventory control and stock reconciliation.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and finance teams for cost optimization.
- Maintain cost accounting records and documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries.
- Support audits and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA (preferred).
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in Cost Control, Finance, Accounts, or related roles.
- Experience in Hospitality, Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, or Construction industries is preferred.
Preferred Software Knowledge
- MS Excel (Advanced)
- SAP / Oracle / Tally / ERP Systems
- Power BI (optional)

Salary Range
(Based on experience and industry)
Pay: ₹50,000.86 - ₹70,000.00 per month
