Key responsibilities/experience:
1. Execute End-to-End Workday Payroll Integrations
- Execute the lifecycle of Workday payroll integrations with external payroll vendors—from
build through testing and deployment
- Support requirements gathering and translate business requirements into integration design
specifications
- Assist in defining data flow design and mapping strategies aligned with business
requirements
- Ensure accurate integration between Workday and downstream systems, focusing on scalability
and performance
2. Support Payroll Process Automation (Eliminate Manual PDFs)
- Support initiatives to replace manual, PDF-based payroll processes with automated, system-driven
workflows
- Analyse existing processes and assist in designing improved automated solutions to enhance
accuracy and efficiency
- Develop integration components that reduce manual intervention and improve processing
timelines
- Contribute to standardization of automation practices and reusable integration templates
3. Build Workday Integration Solutions (PECI & Beyond)
- Design and develop PECI-based integrations, along with other Workday integration patterns (EIB,
Core Connectors; Studio preferred)
- Implement data extraction, transformation, and mapping logic for payroll integrations
- Prepare technical design documentation and ensure alignment with integration standards
- Support enhancements in integration design such as validation checks and error-handling
mechanisms
4. Own Workstream Delivery in Offshore Model
- Independently own specific integration workstreams and ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate closely with onshore leads and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables
- Ensure quality and completeness of deliverables within assigned scope
- Provide regular status updates and highlight risks/issues proactively
5. Troubleshooting, Testing, and Data Validation
- Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis
- Execute SIT and UAT testing activities, including defect tracking and resolution
- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and exception handling
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of payroll data
6. Governance, Compliance, and Documentation
- Support adherence to testing protocols, deployment processes, and quality controls
- Ensure compliance with client policies, data security standards, and audit requirements
- Maintain documentation including integration designs, test cases, and execution logs
7. Team Collaboration and Mentoring
- Coordinate with Associates and support their day-to-day execution
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, and vendor teams
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Information Technology from an accredited
university
- 3–4 years of experience in Workday integrations / HRIS / payroll systems; consulting experience
preferred
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (PECI, EIB, Core Connectors)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Willingness to work in an offshore delivery model and collaborate with global teams
Pay: ₹700,262.37 - ₹2,114,580.69 per year
