Urban Grey Engineering Solutions is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering integrated solutions in structural engineering, architecture, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure planning, water resources engineering, and MEP design.
We work on government infrastructure projects, urban development projects, and large building projects across Kerala and other states. Our team is involved in structural design, DPR preparation, infrastructure planning, and project management consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and detailed electrical drawings.
- Design LT/HT electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review electrical drawings for compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and monitor electrical installation works.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. Electrical).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working in an MEP Design Consultancy is preferred.
- Experience in Government projects will be an added advantage.
- Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of ETAP, Dialux, EPLAN, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical design standards, IS Codes, and statutory regulations.
- Experience in BOQ preparation and estimation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
