Project Role Description : Provide L1–L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support.

Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator to manage and optimize our enterprise Linux infrastructure. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable Red Hat environments while driving automation, performance tuning, and system reliability across on-prem and cloud platforms
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
- Manage and administer virtual infrastructure using VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
- Implement and manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP
- Perform patch management, upgrades, and system hardening
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Windows OS and virtual environments
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, snapshots, replication)
- Ensure system security, compliance, and audit readiness
- Work with storage systems (SAN/NAS) and virtualization storage concepts
- Collaborate with network, security, and cloud teams
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting
- Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Windows system administration
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server administration
- VMware virtualization stack (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Expertise in:
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Windows security and patch management
- Experience with backup and recovery tools (Veeam preferred)
- Solid understanding of virtualization concepts (HA, DRS, vMotion)
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
