Management Representative (MR) – QMS
Job Purpose
The Management Representative (MR) is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). The role ensures compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and statutory regulations while promoting a culture of continual improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if applicable), customer-specific requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct internal quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Coordinate and facilitate external, certification, customer, and surveillance audits.
- Prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) agendas, reports, action plans, and monitor the implementation of decisions.
- Monitor Quality Objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and process performance.
- Manage document and record control as per QMS requirements.
- Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and FMEA.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure effective implementation of QMS procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continual improvement and support Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and 5S initiatives.
- Conduct QMS awareness and internal auditor training programs.
- Ensure customer complaints, non-conformities, and audit observations are resolved within agreed timelines.
- Maintain quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, formats, and process documentation.
- Support new product development and process changes by ensuring QMS compliance.
- Prepare and present QMS performance reports to top management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (preferred).
- Experience in internal and external audit management.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and APQP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation abilities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Forging, Automotive, or Engineering industries is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
