Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Advocate with 3–4 years of experience in civil law practice or working with a Civil Advocate/civil courts. The candidate will be responsible for handling legal documentation, coordinating with courts, external advocates, government authorities, and managing revenue-related legal matters. Knowledge of Kannada (reading and writing) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil legal matters and assist in court-related proceedings.
- Liaise with civil courts, external advocates, municipal authorities, and government departments.
- Prepare, review, and maintain legal documents, petitions, notices, and agreements.
- Follow up on court cases and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
- Coordinate with revenue offices and verify revenue-related documents.
- Maintain case records and legal documentation.
- Conduct legal research and provide support on civil law matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and local authorities.
Required Skills
- Experience handling civil court matters and legal documentation.
- Knowledge of municipal laws, revenue records, and local authority procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet applications.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and write Kannada (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Member of the State Bar Council.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation or working with a Civil Advocate.
- Experience in liaising with courts, advocates, municipal authorities, and government offices.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
