We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Technical Sales Engineer – RMC to develop new business opportunities and manage relationships with builders, contractors, developers, architects, consultants, and construction site engineers. The candidate will be responsible for generating RMC orders, understanding customer requirements, providing technical support, and coordinating with the plant and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities for Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC).
- Visit construction sites regularly and meet builders, contractors, developers, consultants, and site engineers.
- Generate leads and convert inquiries into confirmed RMC orders.
- Understand customer/project requirements and recommend suitable concrete grades and solutions.
- Explain RMC products, grades, applications, and technical specifications to customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Coordinate with the RMC plant, quality team, dispatch, and transport teams for timely order execution.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries, payments, and future requirements.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with the technical/quality team to resolve concrete-related issues.
- Maintain daily visit reports, lead details, sales pipeline, and order status.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Experience in RMC, Ready-Mix Concrete, Construction, Cement, Aggregates, or Building Materials will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong field sales experience in the construction industry can also apply.
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of concrete and construction practices.
- Willingness to travel and visit construction sites regularly.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and good at follow-up.
- Freshers with a Civil Engineering background and strong communication skills may also be considered.
