About the Position:
BharatCares is seeking a dynamic and committed Coordinator – Health Program to oversee the implementation of a health and menstrual hygiene management initiative across schools in Bokaro district, Jharkhand.
The Coordinator will be responsible for program planning, stakeholder engagement, government liaison, vendor coordination, field monitoring, reporting, and ensuring timely achievement of project deliverables. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to improving adolescent health outcomes while working closely with schools, communities, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor program activities across selected schools in Bokaro district.
- Liaise with District Education and Health Departments to secure approvals and facilitate convergence with government schemes.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of sanitary pad dispensers, eco-friendly incinerators, and menstrual health laboratories.
- Support the implementation of menstrual health awareness sessions and capacity-building activities.
- Facilitate training programs for teachers, school staff, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and timelines to ensure successful implementation.
- Coordinate with vendors and field teams to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
- Conduct regular field visits and provide on-ground support to stakeholders.
- Collect data, document success stories, and maintain project records.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, field updates, and monitoring reports for project leadership and MIS teams.
- Identify implementation challenges and proactively recommend solutions.
● Education: Graduate in Social Work, Education, Rural Development, Public Health, or related field.
● Experience: 2–5 years in field-level program implementation, preferably in education, adolescent health, or WASH programs.
● Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Comfortable with school/community visits and fieldwork within Bokaro district.
Basic MS Office/Google Sheets skills for reporting
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
