Position Title: Supply Chain Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand forecasting, production planning, procurement, vendor management, logistics coordination, inventory control, and import-export documentation. The role requires strong planning, negotiation, and analytical skills to ensure smooth operations, cost optimization, and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting & Production Planning
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and business requirements to prepare accurate demand forecasts.
- Develop and execute production plans to ensure product availability while optimizing resources.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and procurement teams to align supply with demand.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Conduct price negotiations and contract discussions to achieve cost savings and favourable commercial terms.
Order Execution
- Manage the complete order lifecycle from purchase order creation to delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Track and resolve issues related to order delays, shortages, and discrepancies.
Logistics Management
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Work closely with transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient movement of goods.
- Monitor transportation costs and delivery performance to improve operational efficiency.
Inventory Control
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolete stock.
Import & Export Operations
- Manage import-export documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and logistics partners for smooth shipment clearance.
- Ensure timely submission and maintenance of shipping and trade-related documents.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, inventory, logistics, and supply chain performance.
- Analyse operational data and provide actionable insights for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 7–14 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management, or related functions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Dashboards, Data Analysis)
- ERP Software Proficiency (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Infor, or equivalent)

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
