We are hiring an experienced Solaris Administrator in Belapur, Navi Mumbai with 10+ years of expertise in server management and administration, preferably in the banking domain. This is a work-from-office role, offering an opportunity to manage mission-critical Solaris environments in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:-
Perform day-to-day technical support, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Solaris servers.
Manage and install Solaris software on standalone and server systems.
Perform user and security administration, including implementing file permissions for users and groups.
Handle crash dumps, core files, and system logs effectively.
Create, modify, and maintain volumes and file systems.
Perform firmware upgrades and patch management for Solaris servers.
Enable/disable services and ensure optimal system performance.
Monitor file system space utilization and proactively resolve capacity issues.
Perform system boot and shutdown procedures with precision.
Implement robust system backup and restore processes.
Manage installation, upgrades, and configuration of Solaris environments.
Ensure package and patch management is up-to-date for secure system performance.
Desired Skills & Competencies:-
Strong Solaris system administration skills with over 10 years of relevant experience.
Good-to-Have:-
Prior exposure to banking domain projects and enterprise-level IT environments.
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems independently.
Strong knowledge of security administration and performance tuning.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
