Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safety Engineer to ensure a safe working environment across all operations. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. This role requires expertise in safety standards, hazard identification, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across the workplace to identify potential hazards and non-compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Investigate accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Coordinate with management to ensure that safety goals and objectives are aligned with company initiatives and standards.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Ensure that safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are available, properly maintained, and compliant with regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to design and implement safety measures in new and existing facilities.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Support emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first-aid training.
- Monitor safety performance indicators and produce regular reports to management.
Qualifications:
- B-tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, B.sc.
- Certification in safety management or occupational health & safety From State Board.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in safety software and data management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience Required: minimum 4 years
Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
