Kamb&m School of Life International, Edappal, Kerala is now looking for a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to develop and deliver an engaging music curriculum, inspiring students in vocal, instrumental, and theoretical music, and leading school-wide musical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Design and implement a comprehensive music curriculum (theory, history, skills) for various instruments (e.g., piano, strings, band) and voice, adapting to diverse learning styles.
- Performance & Events: Plan, direct, and coordinate school concerts, choirs, ensembles, and performances, showcasing student talent.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress through observation, performance, and feedback, providing constructive reports for students and parents.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that promotes musical appreciation and skill development.
- Collaboration: Work with other teachers to integrate music with other subjects and support school-wide events.
- Extra-curricular: Develop and lead after-school music clubs or programs (e.g., band, choir).
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field.
- Proficiency in multiple instruments and vocal techniques.
- Experience in curriculum development, instrumental instruction, and conducting.
