We are looking for a sharp, analytical QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and user experience. The ideal candidate has a knack for identifying patterns, spotting inconsistencies, and thinking critically to ensure our products are flawless and user-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and spot edge cases or inconsistencies early.
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, performance, and cross-platform testing (web and mobile).
- Investigate bugs thoroughly, replicate issues, and suggest root causes.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure issues are understood and resolved.
- Think from an end-user perspective to uncover potential usability issues.
- Continuously refine test processes and recommend improvements.
Analytical Thinking Skills You'll Need:
- Ability to break down complex features into testable parts.
- Logical reasoning to identify problem areas quickly.
- Data-driven approach in identifying bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Curiosity to explore "what if" scenarios that uncover hidden issues.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong foundation in manual testing (automation is a plus).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Postman, BrowserStack, etc.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with API testing, test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Understanding of basic SQL queries or database structures.
- Familiarity with usability testing principles.
