We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled study personnel to support the daily care, monitoring, and welfare of laboratory animals in a research facility. The candidate will ensure compliance with institutional, national, and international animal welfare guidelines while maintaining high standards of animal husbandry and facility hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor animal health, behavior, and welfare; identify and report abnormalities or signs of distress.
- Assist in handling, restraint, dosing, sample collection, and routine experimental procedures in rodents and other laboratory animals.
- Maintain accurate records of animal inventory, health observations, breeding, and experimental data.
- Ensure proper sanitation, sterilization, and maintenance of animal rooms, equipment, and work areas.
- Support quarantine, breeding, and colony management activities.
- Assist veterinarians and researchers during procedures, treatments, and necropsy activities.
- Ensure compliance with CCSEA, IAEC, GLP, and institutional biosafety guidelines.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, ventilation, and light cycles.
- Operate and maintain laboratory and animal care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in emergency animal care and facility support when required.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology, Microbiology, or related disciplines / B.Pharm. from a recognized institution.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in preclinical research facilities or GLP-certified animal houses.
- Training in laboratory animal techniques, anesthesia assistance, or sample collection.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
