Responsibility for this position is to develop embedded software for Honeywell fire detection systems requiring expertise in various technologies like C++ programming, RTOS and Linux system programming.
- Good Experience in embedded firmware design and development, experience in microcontroller & microprocessor design and interfacing
- Experience with hardware-software co-design methodologies, enabling seamless collaboration and optimization between hardware and software components.
- Experience in RTOS, Linux, communications (TCP/IP, RS485, CAN, I2C, SPI,UART)
- Strong experience in OOAD concepts, C++programming
- Knowledge of Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals
- Working experience in Yocto-Linux customization and bring-up
- Well versed with Scaled Agile (SAFE)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and systems engineers to ensure integrated and robust system designs.
- Lead technical problem-solving efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in embedded software development processes
Good communications, presentation skills and ability to handle multiple activities/priorities effectively
