- Communication: Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to clarify information and ensure report accuracy. Respond to inquiries from medical staff regarding the status of radiology reports.
- Quality Control: Ensure reports are error-free, meet medical standards, and comply with confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, often involving day, night, or rotational shifts.
- Skills: Proficiency in medical transcription software and electronic health record systems is advantageous. Excellent understanding of medical terminology, particularly in radiology
