Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Execution to lead end-to-end execution and planning of Water & Wastewater projects, including STP, ETP, WTP, RO, and related treatment systems. The role requires strong project planning, site execution, client coordination, team management, vendor coordination, and the ability to drive projects across India within defined timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing multi-disciplinary project execution involving civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams. Experience with planning tools such as MS Project, WBS, S-Curve, DPR/MPR, vendor coordination, BOQ, RFQ, and site progress tracking will be valuable.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Planning
- Lead complete project execution from handover to commissioning for Water & Wastewater projects.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, WBS, execution plans, resource plans, and site milestones.
- Ensure timely completion of projects as per approved scope, drawings, BOQ, quality standards, and client commitments.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress through DPR, MPR, review meetings, and escalation reports.
- Identify project risks, delays, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and drive corrective action.
Site Management
- Manage site execution activities including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and automation coordination.
- Ensure proper deployment of manpower, subcontractors, equipment, tools, and materials at site.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, electrical, automation, and operations teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, safety practices, work methods, and quality standards.
Team Handling
- Lead and manage site/project teams of 20+ people, including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and technicians.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor productivity, resolve site-level issues, and maintain execution discipline.
- Conduct regular team reviews and ensure strong coordination between HO and site teams.
Client & Vendor Coordination
- Act as the primary execution interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct client review meetings, submit progress reports, and manage site-level expectations.
- Coordinate with vendors for material delivery, technical clarifications, inspections, and installation support.
- Support procurement with RFQs, technical comparisons, BOQ validation, and vendor follow-ups where required.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure execution is aligned with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, safety norms, and applicable standards.
- Monitor quality of installation, erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure subcontractor work methods comply with company and industry safety standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for project progress, material consumption, inspections, and handover.
Commissioning & Handover
- Drive pre-commissioning, commissioning, trial runs, and final project handover.
- Ensure closure of punch points, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and client sign-offs.
- Coordinate with service/O&M teams for smooth transition after commissioning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in Water & Wastewater project execution and planning.
- Strong experience in STP, ETP, WTP, RO, UF, ZLD, pumping systems, piping, tanks, and related treatment infrastructure.
- B.Tech mandatory, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in handling project/site teams of 20+ people.
- Strong understanding of project planning, execution sequencing, site coordination, and commissioning.
- Experience in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD review, DPR/MPR reporting, WBS, and S-Curve tracking.
- Ability to coordinate across civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, procurement, and client teams.
- Open to Pan India travel based on project requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and client management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on execution background rather than only design or coordination experience.
- Experience in EPC/project-based companies in Water & Wastewater treatment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project sites or fast-moving execution schedules.
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to close issues independently.
- Comfortable working with both corporate clients and site-level execution teams.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
