Job Description:
- Delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials for Management subjects in the domain of Hospital Management and Healthcare Administration.
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
- Designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials related to healthcare management, hospital operations, and healthcare systems.
- Assessing students' coursework; setting and marking examinations and assignments.
- Supporting students through an advisory role and supervising students' academic and research activities.
- Carrying out administrative tasks related to the department and academic programs.
- Representing the institution at professional conferences, healthcare forums, and seminars, and contributing to these as necessary.
- Establishing collaborative links outside IIAS with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and public health organisations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Must demonstrate an excellent understanding of today’s Healthcare and Hospital Administration landscape.
- Teaching experience of a minimum of 3 years or/and Industry work experience of a minimum of 5 years in hospitals or healthcare organisations is mandatory.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Hospital Management / Healthcare Management / Healthcare Administration / Public Health with publications in well-rated journals.
- M.B.A. / M.H.A. / P.G.D.M. in Hospital or Healthcare Management from a reputed institute.
- As per UGC Norms: Candidates without a Master's Degree need not apply. All criteria as per UGC guidelines must be fulfilled.
