Field Laptop Service Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Field Laptop Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain laptops and related hardware at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with laptop troubleshooting, hardware replacement, software installation, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer locations for onsite laptop repair and maintenance
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on laptops and desktops
- Replace faulty components such as RAM, SSDs, keyboards, batteries, screens, and motherboards
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades
- Provide technical support and explain issues/resolutions to customers
- Maintain service reports and update job status regularly
- Ensure timely resolution of service calls while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal support teams for spare parts and escalations
Requirements
- 10th / Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in laptop or desktop servicing
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and networking basics
- Ability to work independently in field service environments
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience servicing brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, or Asus
- Knowledge of BIOS updates, data backup, and antivirus tools
- Familiarity with ticketing or service management systems
Salary
₹16,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience)
