CT / X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT / X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and computed tomography (CT) equipment. The technician will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation protection standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures as per physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, X-ray machines, and related imaging equipment.
- Verify patient identity, medical history, and examination details before procedures.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance during examinations.
- Apply appropriate radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
- Adjust imaging parameters to achieve optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and preparation when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and reports.
- Ensure proper handling and transfer of images through PACS/RIS systems.
- Perform quality checks and report equipment issues or abnormalities.
- Follow infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, or equivalent.
- Valid certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Experience in CT and X-ray imaging procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and imaging protocols.
- Familiarity with PACS and digital radiography systems.
- Good communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Preferred Skills:
- 1-2 years of Experience with contrast-enhanced CT procedures.
- Knowledge of emergency and trauma imaging.
- Ability to handle multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
