We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at client locations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to ensure smooth equipment operation and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and configure equipment as per company standards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Diagnose technical faults and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
- Attend service calls and resolve customer complaints within stipulated timelines.
- Conduct equipment inspections and performance testing.
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain service records.
- Coordinate with the technical support team for complex issues.
- Ensure timely replacement of defective parts and components.
- Provide operational training and guidance to customers.
- Maintain inventory of service tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Adhere to safety standards and company operating procedures.
- Support warranty and annual maintenance contract (AMC) activities.
- Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and emergency service requirements.
Profile Requirements(What is the employer looking for?)
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting principles.
- Experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and servicing.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety regulations.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in preparing service documentation and reports.
- Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
- Willingness to travel extensively as per business requirements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
