Job Description
We are hiring a Hydraulic Service Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to work on heavy vehicles and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical components, servicing, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems in heavy vehicles.
- Identify and diagnose hydraulic and mechanical issues.
- Handle repair and maintenance of hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Attend breakdown and service requirements.
- Coordinate with customers and the internal service team to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain service records and prepare service reports.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and service standards.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy vehicles.
- Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic components.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify hydraulic leaks, pressure-related issues, and component faults.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings/manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work with heavy vehicles and attend service requirements.
