About the Role
As a Software Applications and ITAM Data Analyst you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing software installations in our network, identifying any changes and possible violations against our policies. You will collaborate with global, internal teams for improving the data quality and completeness in our Software and Hardware Asset Management tools, ensuring a reliable data foundation for our ITAM compliance team.
This role requires good knowledge of general software licensing rules, experience in software asset management, IT operations, or IT contract management. Furthermore, you have good and elaborate communication skills, you have proven to think outside of the box, and are committed to excellent data quality.
As part of the Software Operations team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on streamlining and simplifying the organization's software usage, reducing policy violations and contribute to its success by providing expert data analytics and data management skills.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and analyze software installations to identify potential policy violation and compliance risks.
- Addressing and clearing policy violations and compliance mitigation steps.
- Create and maintain a database of software installations and changes.
Create, update, and manage commercial software data in our SAM tool.

- Good knowledge of software licensing rules and application management
- Experience in software/hardware asset management and IT Operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Strong commitment to excellent data quality
- Strong focus on delivering great results, and not on just working off checklists
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

What is Nice to Have
- Any SAM-related certificate
- Experience with software asset management tools (Flexera, Snow) and CMDB applications.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Experience in a global or multi-national organization.

What Makes You Eligible
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in software asset or application management, or IT Asset Management.
- Ability to manage complex licensing agreements and ensure compliance with licensing terms and conditions.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models, including perpetual, subscription, and usage-based licensing
